1. Data Controller

The Data Controller of the data collected through this Website is Technica Engineering GmbH (hereinafter “Technica Engineering”, with registered office in Leopoldstr. 236, 80807 Munich, e-mail address info@technica-engineering.de and phone number +49 89/200 07 24-10.

Technica Engineering has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the e-mail address datenschutz@technica-engineering.de.

 

2. Purposes

The personal data of the user of this Website will be processed for the following purposes:

■     Create a visitor account. The data processed for this purpose will be retained until the data subject withdraws the consent given for the creation of his visitor account and, after that, for the legally prescribed periods of retention and prescription of liabilities. The legal basis for the processing is the consent given for the creation of the account by the user.

■     Visitor and customer account management. The data processed for this purpose will be kept until the visitor withdraws the consent given to create his account and, in the case of customers, until the end of the contractual relationship with them, and after that, during the periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities legally provided. The legal basis for the processing is: a) in relation to visitors, the consent given; b) in relation to the self-employed client, the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party; and c) in relation to the natural persons providing their services to the legal person client, the legitimate interest. 

■     To respond to requests for information and/or queries. The data processed for this purpose will be kept until the request for information and/or consultation has been answered and, after that, for the legally stipulated periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities. The legal basis for the processing is Technica Engineering's legitimate interest in responding to the requests made by the user.

■     Access to the support channel. The data processed for this purpose will be kept until the user's query or incident made through the support channel has been resolved. The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the user given for the use of the support channel.

■     To keep the User informed, including by electronic means, about Technica Engineering products, services and news. The data processed for this purpose will be kept until such time as the user withdraws the consent given for the receipt of such communications and, after that, for the legally prescribed periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities. The legal basis for the processing is consent.

 

3. Recipients

Personal data will not be transmitted for use by third parties, except with the consent of the data subject or when legally required.

Personal data may also need to be accessed by Technica Engineering's subsidiaries (which can be consulted here), providing services in the different countries in which the company has a presence.

The data may also be communicated to the following categories of data processors: providers of electronic communications, office automation, hosting, housing, computer maintenance, management, accounting, auditing, consulting and legal representation. These processors may transfer personal data to processors located in third countries and with whom standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission (Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914/EU of 4 June 2021) have been formalized.

 

4. Rights

The user may exercise his/her rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and object before Technica Engineering.

Similarly, in the processing of user data whose legitimacy is based on the consent given by the user, the user has the right to withdraw such consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

In any case, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority if he/she deems it appropriate.
